Something I jotted down over the weekend, and wanted to share with you;
In the face of trials and strife,
A Stoic mind retains its life,
Accepting all that fate may bring,
With strength and grace, it learns to spring.
For though the world may seem unkind,
And troubles weigh upon the mind,
A Stoic heart remains calm,
Content with what it has, that’s it’s charm.
It does not seek for wealth or fame,
Nor waste its time on empty blame,
But rather focuses on the task at hand,
And does what must be done, a Stoic understands.
And when the inevitable storms of life arise,
And darkness clouds the brightest skies,
The Stoic soul will stand its ground,
And keep its peace, unbroken, and sound.
For in the end, it knows that all
Is but a fleeting, transient call,
And so a Stoic lives with purpose true,
And finds joy in what they can do.
So let us all, with Stoic hearts,
Embrace our trials and do our part,
And trust that in the end,
We can use the peace and joy that Stoicism lends.
A breathtaking, memorable, so helpful poem! And Stoic teaching!👏🎈
